Photoshop:

In Photoshop open up the color picker and select what color you want to convert to Pantone. Click on “Color Libraries” to see the closest Pantone color.

You will then get the following screen:

It will automatically match a Pantone that will be as close as possible to your color. You can also use the color picker to spot pick a pantone from your artwork

It’s surprising how easy it is to get Pantone in Photoshop a software that is not used for print work as much as Illustrator. If you are getting faded blacks when you print from Illustrator in CMYK make sure you check our tutorial to get the right blacks

Let us know if you are actually using Pantone color library in Photoshop since we don’t know anyone 🙂
