Happy Fourth of July! In honor of our country’s 237th birthday, I’ve compiled some of my favorite fireworks labels and packaging designs. Notice one common theme in these labels is portraying a sense of danger!
Vintage Labels
Firework labels from the 60’s and 70’s are characterized by colorful repetition of patterns and illustrated elements.
A landmine AND serpents? Yes please!
The clouds of ash are highlighted by bold primary colors.
This firecracker seems to mimic the sound of Tommy guns!

Coyote Packaging
For the Coyote Fireworks identity, Roxy Torres was inspired by pioneer culture to design an illustrated logo and textural packaging concept.
